Molded by a rich career as a performer and by his choreographic explorations in several hybrid works, Benjamin Hatcher has found a true ally in contemporary tap. Preoccupied by the precariousness of human and social relations and by the fragility of the ephemeral body, SONORE DÉS_ACCORD explores how sound becomes the engine of intimate communication, propelling 7 performers toward a renewed humanism.
The tap used in SONORE DÉS_ACCORD is not gratuitous, nor does it seek to impress with its virtuosity, but serves rather as a conduit for exchange, generating a meeting ground.
