For the fourth edition of COSMOS, Sophie Corriveau and Michael Martini will invite three artists to take up a carte blanche. The artists will be announced later this autumn.

Launched in September 2023, COSMOS is a showcase platform that aims to shake up the pace of creative production.

By accepting the carte blanche, the artists agree to a few guidelines:

• Freedom in terms of content and form, and the choice of their own team;

• Committing to creating a piece in 1 to 3 weeks;

• Creating using limited technical resources;

• Concluding with a public performance.

Danse-Cité is committed to providing the resources and the time and space for artists to immerse themselves fully in a performance project.

For the audience, COSMOS events offer an opportunity to come together around three creations (10 to 30 minutes) and a meal, in a convivial atmosphere.
