Seasoned dancers Ève Garnier and Victoria May pool their talents to reflect on their migratory identity through stories staged by four choreographers (three from Quebec and one from Denmark), a composer from Montreal and two photographers (from Germany and United States). Drawing on a history filled with displacement, the two performers present a narrative under continuous construction marked by encounters at the confluence of different cultures. From testimony to invention, memories fuse and overlap, the assembled fragments revealing sinuous trajectories and a range of choreographic tones, from explosive and highly physical to finely hewn, humorous, deconstructed and dark … The result is a living puzzle.

Ève Garnier (…) has an impressive power of expression: she goes from electrifying to drained, as though she were drugged…
- Vibeke Wern, Berlingske Tidende (Denmark), 2003

[Victoria] May is tiny, perfectly formed, and made of sprung steel…
